The Role
As an SEO Manager, you will take ownership of the SEO strategy and performance for a key brand within the business. Reporting to the SEO Lead, you’ll drive organic traffic and revenue growth through data-driven decision-making, content management, and technical SEO enhancements. You’ll lead a team, manage external partners, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class SEO initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Performance: Lead and execute strategies to optimize site rankings, traffic, and revenue.
Strategy Development: Work alongside the SEO Lead to shape and implement a site-specific SEO roadmap.
Technical SEO & Content Management: Conduct keyword research, resolve site technical issues, and enhance content performance.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop the SEO team, including performance reviews, hiring, and coaching.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and improve KPIs, leveraging insights to drive strategic improvements.
Link Building & PR: Support SEO-driven campaigns to enhance domain authority and organic reach.
Best Practices: Stay ahead of industry trends, sharing insights and innovations across the business.
The Person
The ideal candidate is a data-driven, performance-minded SEO professional with hands-on experience optimizing high-traffic sites. They are a strong leader with a passion for SEO, a technical mindset, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience in an SEO-focused role, ideally within a consumer-driven business.
Strong technical SEO expertise, including site architecture, crawlability, and indexing.
Hands-on experience with link building strategies and keyword research.
A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of organic traffic growth and conversion optimization.
Excellent analytical skills, with experience in tools like Botify, Pi-datametrics, and Google Analytics.
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and manage a team.
A passion for digital marketing, content strategy, and data-led decision-making.
