Senior Software Engineer

The brand sell both cosmetics products and innovative related gadgets. This brand are exceptionally passionate about delivering exceptional, bespoke services to their customers, both online and in-store. The Technology team is comprised of some INCREDIBLY talented people, who thrive in environments where cutting-edge technology is at the forefront.

We have partnered with this phenomenal brand in their search for a senior software engineer to lead their Mobile App development. This role will oversee the development and optimisation of digital commerce experiences, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver seamless customer experiences.

The Role

Below are some of the key responsibilities:

• Lead the development of high-quality mobile applications using React Native.

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver high-quality products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

• Maintain code quality, organisation and automation.

The Person

The ideal candidate for these roles will understand Agile development methodologies and demonstrate the following experience:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience in deploying native apps to app stores.

• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.

• Expertise in Microservices-based architectures using RESTful API’s

• Strong programming background in React, React Native, JavaScript and Node or equivalent languages

Candidates with a background in retail or similar consumer facing industries are preferred. This role is London based, with an extremely flexible hybrid working arrangement.
