The Role
We are seeking a Digital Trading Manager – Luxury to take ownership of digital sales performance within the luxury sector. Reporting to the Head of Digital Trading – Premium & Luxury, this role will be responsible for managing a team, driving commercial success, and optimizing the on-site customer experience. The position requires a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, cross-functional campaign planning, and strategic recommendations to increase digital revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Luxury Digital Trading Team, overseeing performance, commercial strategy, and cross-functional execution.
Define and implement a Digital Trading Strategy aligned with brand and business objectives.
Own and manage the Luxury Digital Trading Calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns, promotions, and key trading moments.
Conduct detailed performance reviews (monthly/quarterly) with key departments, incorporating market insights and customer feedback.
Utilize data analysis tools to inform trading strategies and reactive actions, while ensuring team members have a high level of data literacy.
Collaborate with Digital Marketing teams to align product & trading strategies across all digital channels (SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, Loyalty).
Drive site performance by optimizing site navigation, customer journey, and product placement strategies to enhance conversion rates and key online metrics.
Partner with Product, UX, and Experimentation teams to influence the development roadmap and drive digital innovation.
Represent Digital Trading in cross-functional initiatives, ensuring trading targets are met through projects like app launches and new service developments.
People Management
Provide strong leadership, fostering a high-performing and motivated team.
Set clear objectives and development plans for direct reports.
Champion a collaborative team culture, driving engagement and contribution to the overall digital strategy.
Act as a key representative of the Digital Trading Team, ensuring business-wide alignment on digital KPIs.
The Person
Analytical mindset, with strong reporting skills and experience using Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel.
Proven experience within e-commerce trading, ideally in a retail or consumer brand setting.
Strong track record in both day-to-day performance management and long-term strategic project execution.
Experience in team management and development, with excellent leadership capabilities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to drive initiatives independently.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar digital trading role.
Valid working rights for the UK.
