The Role
We are seeking a Product Manager – Reporting & Analytics to lead and shape reporting solutions within our product workstream. As part of a large-scale transformation project, this role will be pivotal in ensuring reporting requirements are identified, aligned with business objectives, and implemented effectively in collaboration with reporting delivery teams.
Sitting within the Product domain—covering Data, Personalisation, Customer Engagement, and Marketing—this role will also work closely with Digital Analytics and other key reporting functions across the business. The successful candidate will be instrumental in defining reporting strategies, improving data literacy, and ensuring insights drive meaningful decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with 27 product areas to collect and prioritize reporting requirements.
- Define and lead the reporting strategy, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams.
- Partner with solutioning and delivery teams to develop high-level reporting solutions.
- Work closely with Digital, Marketing, and MI reporting domains to refine and standardize reporting practices.
- Direct reporting delivery teams to ensure business requirements are effectively implemented.
- Promote data literacy across teams, driving engagement with reporting tools and analytics.
- Coordinate with virtual delivery teams (Project Managers, Data Engineers, Designers) for seamless reporting deployment.
- Facilitate the transition of reporting solutions to domain teams for maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Define user stories, categorizing reporting features by audience, priority, and expected outcomes.
- Align reporting outputs with business goals to demonstrate measurable impact.
- Ensure reporting solutions are delivered on time, meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Champion a culture of insight-driven decision-making, ensuring reporting tools drive strategic business improvements.
The Person
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in reporting, analytics, or data-driven projects.
- Strong background in using data and insights to inform product development.
- Knowledge of data platforms such as Salesforce, Databricks, or similar tools.
- Ability to prioritize business requirements and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Experience in communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
- Confident in constructively challenging teams and requirements to drive the best outcomes.
- Strong user-centric decision-making skills, ensuring reporting solutions deliver real impact.
- A proactive problem-solver who demonstrates clear ownership and accountability.
- Ability to align reporting projects with broader strategic business outcomes.
- Strong collaboration skills, including experience gathering and acting on customer feedback.
