The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing digital trading team, working on well-established digital platforms. If you’re passionate about digital trading and enjoy taking a hands-on approach to trading and analysing website performance, this is the role for you.
Joining during a period of high performance and significant digital investment, you’ll have the chance to directly influence the growth and success of the digital trading team. Reporting to the Trading Manager, you’ll be responsible for executing campaign, brand, and promotional strategies while collaborating with digital marketing, commercial, and optimisation teams to improve conversion rates and key KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily website trading execution under the guidance of the Trading Manager.
Reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual trade, providing in-depth analysis to drive action plans and meet sales and contribution targets.
Analysing seasonal sales patterns and maintaining commercial awareness by reporting on competitors and customer behaviour.
Managing and reporting on weekly content updates, campaigns, promotions, and brand partner updates.
Overseeing end-to-end management of critical paths for campaigns and promotional activities.
Communicating product and trading strategies to digital marketing and optimisation teams.
Coordinating content requirements to enhance SEO, customer engagement, and conversion.
Managing the improvement process for product content, resolving issues quickly to optimise sales.
People Management:
Setting clear objectives and development plans for Trading Assistant(s) as applicable.
Collaborating effectively with key internal and external stakeholders using strong communication and management methods.
Contributing positively to the ecommerce strategy and representing the Digital Trading Team across the wider business to ensure ecommerce KPIs are understood and met.
The Person:
Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong reporting skills with advanced experience using Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel.
Experienced: At least 2 years in a similar digital role within retail or consumer brands.
E-commerce Expertise: Hands-on experience working within e-commerce platforms.
Independent & Proactive: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while being a proactive team player.
Collaborative & Communicative: Able to work effectively across teams, with excellent communication and people management skills.
Qualifications:
Valid working rights in the UK.
Experience with ecommerce platforms, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of working in a digital environment.
