The Role
The Online Trading Manager will take full ownership of eCommerce performance and play a pivotal role in driving digital growth. Responsible for maximising conversion, delivering sales and ensuring products are presented in the most compelling way, this individual will shape trading strategies and lead key trade reviews. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Online Trading Manager will deliver impactful merchandising, seamless digital journeys and engaging campaigns. With a strong focus on data and insight, they will analyse performance, identify opportunities and test new ideas to enhance customer experience and commercial outcomes. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where innovation, creativity and commercial acumen come together to deliver results.
The Person
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in eCommerce trading within a retail or consumer brand environment. They will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, a history of driving digital growth, and a deep understanding of the metrics and levers that impact online performance. Highly analytical, they will be confident using tools such as Google Analytics and Contentsquare, as well as advanced merchandising platforms. Collaboration will be a natural strength, with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels. Organised and resilient, they will balance multiple priorities while remaining proactive and customer-centric. Above all, they will be passionate about delivering best-in-class online experiences that drive both growth and customer satisfaction
