The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a digital trading expert to define, own, and execute a strong commercial strategy. The role demands a hands-on leader who thrives on driving sales and optimizing performance. With full accountability for digital trading across multiple platforms, this individual will play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital commerce within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the digital trading strategy, ensuring commercial success across multiple websites.
Drive sales through strategic planning, data analysis, and operational execution.
Oversee reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly trade performance, identifying key trends and opportunities.
Develop and execute campaign, brand, and promotional strategies in collaboration with digital marketing, commercial, and optimization teams.
Define and implement long-term trading strategies, including design, functionality improvements, and UX enhancements.
Work closely with digital marketing teams to ensure all trading strategies align with paid, organic, and CRM efforts.
Optimize customer journeys, campaigns, and promotions to drive conversion and engagement.
Ensure SEO, content, and merchandising strategies are aligned to enhance visibility and sales performance.
Lead a high-performing trading team, setting clear goals, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
Act as a key representative for digital trading across the business, ensuring all teams understand and support digital objectives.
The Person
The ideal candidate is a results-driven digital trading leader with a strong eCommerce background and a passion for driving performance. They will have:
Proven experience in digital trading within retail or consumer brands, with at least five years in a similar role.
A deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, analytics tools, and trading performance metrics.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
A data-driven mindset, using insights to optimize strategy and execution.
The ability to balance short-term performance improvements with long-term strategic initiatives.
A proactive and independent approach, thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Experience managing cross-functional relationships to align digital trading with marketing, UX, and merchandising goals.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with expertise in Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel.
