The Role
As the Online Trading Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the ecommerce performance of the brand’s digital channels. Your mission will be to maximise online sales, optimise the customer journey, and ensure a seamless shopping experience across all ecommerce platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

Ownership of ecommerce strategy: Develop and execute the online trading strategy, focusing on sales growth, product performance, and conversion rate optimisation.

Website Management: Oversee the online product offering, merchandising, and stock levels, ensuring the website is continually optimised for the best customer experience.

Performance Monitoring: Track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, providing detailed analysis on sales performance, conversion rates, and customer behavior. Identify trends and opportunities to improve site performance and profitability.

Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the digital marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to align online trading strategies with broader brand goals, seasonal promotions, and inventory planning.

Customer Journey Optimisation: Collaborate with UX/UI and development teams to continually enhance the website, ensuring seamless navigation, quick load times, and a frictionless shopping experience.

Promotional Campaigns: Manage online promotional activity, from planning through to execution, ensuring that campaigns are aligned with brand guidelines and are optimized for maximum impact.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and mentor a team while liaising with key stakeholders across digital marketing, IT, and logistics to ensure smooth operational execution.

The Person
We are seeking a results-driven Online Trading Manager with a passion for ecommerce and beauty. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working with cross-functional teams to drive performance. Key skills and experience include:

Proven experience in ecommerce: At least 4+ years of experience in an online trading or ecommerce management role, ideally within the beauty, fashion, or consumer goods sectors.

Analytical mindset: Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive decision-making and improve online performance.

Customer-focused: Deep understanding of the online customer journey and how to optimise it for increased engagement, satisfaction, and conversion.

Technical acumen: Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify), Google Analytics, and A/B testing tools.

Collaborative and proactive: A team player who excels at working cross-functionally and can take initiative in a fast-moving environment.

Commercially minded: A strategic thinker with a clear understanding of how to drive growth and profitability through online channels.

Passionate about beauty: A love for the beauty industry, with a genuine interest in the latest trends and innovations.
