The Role
As the Marketplace Manager, you will take full ownership of the brand’s presence on leading marketplaces, including Zalando and Amazon. Your mission? To drive sales, optimize performance, and strengthen relationships with key partners. You will be responsible for marketplace strategy, trading performance, and ensuring the brand is represented at its best across all platforms.

From pricing and promotions to product assortment and stock management, you will oversee the full marketplace ecosystem, ensuring that commercial opportunities are maximized. You’ll work closely with internal teams—merchandising, marketing, and logistics—to align strategies and deliver an outstanding digital shopping experience.

The Person
You’re an expert in marketplace management, with a deep understanding of how to leverage platforms like Zalando and Amazon for commercial success. Data-driven and results-oriented, you know how to optimize listings, analyze performance, and negotiate with marketplace partners to maximize revenue.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution. With a keen eye for trends and a strong commercial mindset, you’re always looking for new ways to enhance brand visibility, improve profitability, and drive marketplace growth.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Ownership: Manage the brand’s presence on Zalando, Amazon, and other key platforms, ensuring strong sales and visibility.
Trading & Performance: Drive revenue growth through strategic pricing, promotions, and stock management.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners, negotiating commercial terms and securing the best positioning for the brand.
Optimization: Continuously improve product listings, content, and search rankings to enhance visibility and conversion.
Data & Insights: Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to maximize profitability.
Stock & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure seamless inventory management and fulfillment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (eCommerce, marketing, and merchandising) to align marketplace strategy with overall business goals.
Industry Awareness: Stay ahead of marketplace trends, competitor activity, and new platform opportunities.

What You’ll Need

Proven experience managing marketplaces (Zalando, Amazon, etc.), ideally within premium fashion or retail.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving marketplace growth.
Data-driven mindset with expertise in analyzing sales performance and optimizing listings.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with marketplace partners.
Ability to work cross-functionally and align marketplace strategy with wider business objectives.
Knowledge of marketplace algorithms, digital marketing, and merchandising best practices.
Experience with marketplace management tools and analytics platforms.
