Job Title: Head of eCommerce

As we continue to expand our digital presence, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of eCommerce to lead our online business to new heights.
Role Overview: As the Head of eCommerce, you will be at the forefront of our digital strategy, responsible for driving online sales, enhancing the customer journey, and optimizing the performance of our eCommerce platforms. You will lead a talented team and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure our digital channels are aligned with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- eCommerce Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy that drives growth, increases market share, and enhances profitability. Align the strategy with broader business objectives and seasonal trends.
- Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing eCommerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Provide clear direction and set performance targets to achieve business goals.
- Customer Experience: Champion the online customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience across all digital touchpoints. Work closely with UX/UI, product, and marketing teams to continuously improve site functionality, navigation, and personalization.
- Sales and Performance Management: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value (AOV), traffic, and bounce rates. Implement data-driven strategies to optimize sales performance and achieve revenue targets.
- Digital Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to drive traffic and conversion through SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and other digital channels. Ensure that marketing campaigns are effectively integrated into the eCommerce platform.
- Product Range and Merchandising: Oversee online product assortment, pricing strategies, and digital merchandising efforts. Ensure product listings are accurate, appealing, and optimized for search.
- Technology and Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our eCommerce platform remains cutting-edge. Lead the integration of new tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance site performance and customer engagement.
- Budget and P&L Management: Manage the eCommerce budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Oversee P&L for the eCommerce division, driving profitability through strategic initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior management, IT, logistics, and other key stakeholders to align eCommerce initiatives with company-wide objectives. Present regular updates on eCommerce performance and strategy to the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior eCommerce role, with a strong track record of driving online sales and growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, and online customer behavior.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Experience in managing P&L and budgeting for an eCommerce division.
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, able to balance long-term vision with day-to-day operations.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
