Based in Manchester, we are looking for a dynamic leader to help take our digital presence to the next level.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of eCommerce (Interim) to lead our online business operations during a pivotal growth phase. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our eCommerce function, ensuring that our online platforms deliver a seamless, customer-centric experience while driving sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing an eCommerce strategy to drive growth and maximize revenue
Managing the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce team, ensuring efficient and smooth execution of all activities
Leading key projects such as website optimization, UX improvements, and digital marketing initiatives
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, Logistics) to align business objectives and customer experience
Using data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve KPIs, including conversion rates, AOV, and customer retention
Staying ahead of industry trends to identify new opportunities and innovations in eCommerce
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in a senior eCommerce role, preferably within the fashion or retail industry
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
A data-driven approach to decision-making, with strong analytical skills and experience working with eCommerce platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Magento, Shopify)
Deep understanding of UX, CRO, digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, Social, Email), and customer behavior
A strategic mindset with the ability to drive both short-term results and long-term growth initiatives
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
Adaptability and a hands-on approach to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
