The Role
We are looking a Head of Digital Experience & Optimisation to lead the end-to-end digital journey across web, mobile and app platforms. This role blends commercial strategy, analytics and innovation to deliver customer-first experiences that drive engagement, retention, loyalty and conversion. You will take ownership of the full digital journey, optimising every interaction and touchpoint, from app growth and personalised loyalty experiences to cross-device journey consistency. You will lead digital analytics, conversion rate optimisation, search and personalisation strategies, and provide insight into brand performance to inform actionable improvements. This is a hands-on, high-impact role, collaborating across Marketing, Tech, CRM, Buying and Finance to align digital initiatives with commercial goals and drive measurable growth.
The Person
You are an experienced digital leader with proven expertise in UX, digital optimisation and CRO, ideally within retail or eCommerce. You have a strong technical understanding of analytics platforms (GA4, GTM), testing tools (Optimizely, AB Tasty) and product insight software (Hotjar, Contentsquare). You excel at diagnosing and improving brand performance online, designing seamless customer journeys and embedding a culture of testing and insight-led decision-making. Strategic yet hands-on, you are commercially minded, passionate about customer-first innovation, and excited by the opportunity to shape the future of digital experiences in a dynamic, fast-growing business. Experience in search and personalisation platforms such as Bloomreach Discovery and an interest in beauty, fragrance or lifestyle sectors is highly desirable.
