The Brand
WeComm have partnered with a phenomenal and iconic brand in the fashion and apparel retail space in their search for a Global Head of Technology. This brand operate as an omnichannel player and have a strong wholesale presence. The organisation are about to embark on an exciting technology-enabled transformation journey.
The Role
The Global Head of Technology role will play a pivotal role in the transformation of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading initiative delivery, enterprise architecture and engineering capabilities. The formation of the technology strategy, and resultant transformation roadmap, will be a priority for the Global Head of Technology. There are a number of inflight initiatives to deliver, as well as a number of proof of concepts around new initiatives to be established. The building of functions and the evolution of the way in which the business delivers it’s agenda is also a key responsibility for the successful candidate.
The Person
• A strong track-record in technology delivery, within both agile and waterfall delivery environments utilising both project and product oriented methodologies for delivery
• Strong understanding around governance, and high standards around delivery
• A strategic thinker, with the ability to utilise enterprise architecture to drive technology strategy
• Strong leadership and storytelling capabilities
• A good technical background, or leadership background, around delivery, engineering and architecture.
