Our client, a well known fashion retailer are looking for a content driven Editor who will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of copywriters with a focus on driving conversion and creating quality SEO-led copy across the business. Sitting within the editorial team, the role will also play a pivotal part in refining, optimising and curating AI-generated content across platforms, responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency and delivering copy that is always on brand.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage creative process and lead creative direction for packaging and brand collateral.
  • Manage a budget for Content Creation and work with relevant stakeholders to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Embrace opportunities for utilising AI, exploring and experimenting with tools.
  • Training and fine-tuning AI and LLM models to improve efficiencies and produce quality content at scale.
  • Training a team of copywriters to best utilise AI, empowering and upskilling.
  • Inspiring and leading a team of copywriters working across channels, with a focus on product, site and SEO, working with them to drive efficiencies and conversion.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across SEO, Trade, Commercial and Marketing to deliver timely copy that meets the demands of the business.
  • Be a guardian of copy and channel excellence, ensuring quality and brand voice is maintained at the highest level for each fascia.
  • Monitor content performance and drive changes based on learnings.

 

Key Skills:

 

  • Hands on experience working with AI and training LLM models.
  • Experience in content editing, copywriting or journalism in a digital environment, preferably in retail and ecomm.
  • Experience driving SEO traffic and delivering SEO copy best practises.
  • Experience working with product descriptions.
  • Strong digital background.
  • Fashion industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, hit deadlines and step outside of your comfort zone.
  • Highly organised and strategic
