The Role
The Digital Trading Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing the brand’s digital trading plan while optimizing the customer journey and driving sales. The successful candidate will:
Deliver the Digital Trading Plan: Execute trading strategies across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Optimize eCommerce Performance: Utilize various tools to enhance website functionality, maximize sales, and improve product discovery and search functions.
Enhance Customer Journeys: Conduct regular category walkthroughs and use analytics insights to identify opportunities for improving the digital ecosystem.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build and maintain strong relationships with Commercial teams (Buyers, Planners) and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and alignment.
Analyze and Report Insights: Provide actionable insights into eCommerce performance by analyzing key metrics and identifying opportunities for growth.
The Person
We are looking for an experienced and driven individual with a proven track record in eCommerce and digital trading. The ideal candidate will have:
4+ years of eCommerce experience in digital trading and website optimization.
Expertise across key eCommerce areas such as product discovery, search optimization, visual merchandising, and understanding of metrics like traffic, conversion rates, and average transaction value.
Strong planning and organizational skills, with experience in managing campaigns and presenting timelines effectively.
Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics/GA4, Contentsquare, Google Looker Studio, and CMS platforms.
Familiarity with tools like Bloomreach, Algolia (searchandising), and Taggstar (social proofing) to enhance website performance.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights and strategies to internal and external teams.
A strategic mindset, capable of aligning digital trading plans with broader business and marketing goals.
