As we continue to expand our digital footprint, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Merchandising Manager to join our team.

Role Overview: As the Digital Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for driving online sales growth across our digital platforms by optimizing product presentation, improving user experience, and enhancing the overall customer journey. You will work closely with the eCommerce, marketing, and buying teams to ensure our digital channels are engaging, relevant, and aligned with the broader business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Presentation: Manage the online product catalog, ensuring all products are accurately and attractively presented with high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and optimized keywords to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Merchandising Strategy: Develop and execute a digital merchandising strategy that aligns with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities. Use data-driven insights to optimize category pages, product placement, and featured items.
  • User Experience: Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance the online shopping experience, ensuring ease of navigation, intuitive product discovery, and effective search functionality.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, including conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and bounce rates. Use this data to inform merchandising decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the buying, marketing, and eCommerce teams to align merchandising efforts with inventory levels, promotional plans, and brand messaging.
  • A/B Testing: Lead A/B testing initiatives to identify the most effective merchandising strategies and implement changes that drive measurable results.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to keep our digital merchandising strategy fresh and competitive.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of digital merchandising specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in digital merchandising, preferably within the retail or eCommerce sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in using eCommerce platforms, content management systems (CMS), and web analytics tools.
  • Excellent understanding of SEO and its impact on digital merchandising.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in leading and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
